ABOUT PTA

The mission of the PTA of Grandview Hills Elementary is to offer programs, fundraising events, school support and membership opportunities that fully encompass the teachings of the IB Programme framework. We will offer activities for which students feel ownership and responsibility-every thing from families purchasing stepping stones to build the foundation of the elementary school to a Multi-Cultural Family Night where students proudly share their heritage.

What is the PTA? According to the Texas PTA Website PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the state who have a special interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining PTA, a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state -- over 630,000 strong across Texas.

As a member of the PTA, you can assist in achieving our mission in support of GHE and our students!   Learn more about how you can get involved in the GHE PTA and become a member and/or volunteer.
