IN PERSON REGISTRATION

STUDENTS

Student Registration

In-person registration for incoming PreK and Kindergarten students for the 2026–2027 school year will take place at GHE on April 1st from 7:10 AM-3:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to get your child registered and ready for a successful start to school!

Please note: In-person registration is not required. The online application will also open on April 1st, so families may choose to complete the process from home if preferred.

Bus Registration

We will also be offering bus registration for ALL families needing transportation for the 2026-2027 school year. If your child will need to ride the bus, please be sure to complete this step. Families can review detailed instructions in the Register to Ride newsletter and use THIS link to confirm transportation eligibility before registering.

🚍 Important Transportation Deadline:

Bus registrations submitted by May 31st are guaranteed transportation on the first day of school. Registrations received after this date are not guaranteed to begin service on the first day.

What are EAGLE EVENINGS 🦅?

Eagle Evenings are special family engagement nights where all of our community’s families are invited to come together. Most evenings follow a fun theme, and two each year are larger celebrations for the whole community. These gatherings are a chance to share food or snacks, enjoy each other’s company, and simply connect. It’s about building friendships, learning ways to support one another, and creating a welcoming space where our kids can laugh, play, and make memories. At the heart of it, Eagle Evenings are about being together—celebrating our school community like one big family.

What are FLY HIGH FRIDAYS?

Fly High Friday is our monthly pep rally—usually held on the last Friday of the month—where our entire school community comes together to celebrate school spirit and student achievements. Led by our amazing Eagle Ambassadors, this event is open to all students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, and parents are warmly encouraged to attend.

During the rally, we honor our “Eagles of the Month” and recognize any special awards our students have earned for the school. Learning attributes are brought to life through fun, engaging skits, and sometimes guest presenters—whether teachers or community groups—join in to share something special.

We also find out which grade gets the bragging rights of claiming the coveted Viper helmet. It’s an uplifting way to cheer on our kids, celebrate their hard work, and strengthen our school pride.

💡NOTE: Parents attending Fly High Friday will need to check in at the front office to get a badge before joining the event. Our admin team also appreciates it when guests check out at the front office when leaving.
